10. What does God want me to do?
"Never let a good crisis go to waste."
Sir Winston Churchill first said these words of wisdom in the mid-1940s during the end of World War II. Fast forward to the 21st Century, we are now facing the novel COVID-19 pandemic, an ongoing crisis attacking the whole wide world. This deadly pandemic tremendously threatens our lives, disrupts the global socioeconomic, resets our lives and the world. Irregardless of whether you are rich or poor, young or old, male or female, from different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds; every single person living on earth is not spared from the raging storm of COVID-19. We are all facing this humongous crisis.

In this season, right where I am, what does God want me to do?
The pandemic-lockdown truly has awaken me from the normal peaceful days. I ponder upon my life, my value system, my relationships and my worldview. In another words, God has provided a virtual cave for my deeper reflection during this pandemic-lockdown. Emotionally, it can be very draining when I was reflecting on some thought-provoking issues. As I walk through this journey of reflection with God, God in His steadfast loving way, has offered some challenges for my further action.
"COVID-19 is not God's judgment, but a call to live differently.
It is not the time of Your judgment, but of our judgment:
a time to choose what matters and what passes away,
a time to separate what is necessary from what is not.
It is a time to get our lives back on track with regard to You, Lord and to others."
Pope Francis said the wise words above during a prayer service at the Vatican on 27 March 2020. Personally, I am inspired by these profound words of Pope Francis. Isn't it true that COVID-19 is an awakening call for reflection and realignment of our lives?
